Manage plug-ins in one place
Plugin Registration shows every plug-in assembly in a Dataverse or Dynamics 365 environment as a tree: assemblies, then their plug-in types, then each step and its images. Select any node to see its details next to the tree.
Steps and images
Register a step on a message and table, set its stage, execution mode, filtering attributes, and order, and update it later. Disable a step to switch it off without losing its configuration, then enable it again.
Add pre and post images to a step and choose the columns each image carries.
Assemblies
Push a new build of an assembly to update it in place, and unregister types or assemblies you no longer need. The same validation rules Dataverse applies are checked before anything is saved, so problems show next to the field that caused them.
When to use it
- Deploying and debugging plug-ins during development.
- Temporarily disabling a step while you investigate an issue.
- Reviewing what runs on a table before a release.
